Transportation Department Releases National Vehicle-To-Everything Plan

The plan outlines the implementation of road system safety through digital technology across the country.

The Department of Transportation recently released its finalized plan to implement vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies across the country. The department first requested public comment for the first draft of its plan in October, refining the strategies proposed to improve wireless communications between vehicles and key roadside infrastructure. Now that the plan has been finalized, transportation officials will begin work on collaborations to advance the potential of this digital technology.

“The Department has reached a key milestone today in laying out a national plan for the transportation industry that has the power to save lives and transform the way we travel,” said Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. “The Department recognizes the potential safety benefits of V2X, and this plan will move us closer to nationwide adoption of this technology.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Buttigieg as he facilitates the development of national vehicle-to-everything technologies.
  • For U.S. transportation officials as they pursue and collaborate on upgrades in digital technology.
